About Me
I’m passionate about the growth, care, and healing of my clients. Through our therapeutic relationship, we create a sacred space where you can deeply see yourself, and from there build a life authentic to you. I utilize a direct and collaborative approach that is primarily informed by psychodynamic techniques, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Internal Family Systems. I've also been a Buddhist practitioner for nearly a decade, and integrate meditation and Eastern philosophy into my work as appropriate.
Some more background
I received my Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Berkeley in 2014 and my Master of Social Work with a specialization in Adult Mental Health and Wellness from University of Southern California in 2021. As part of my graduate education I interned at the Simms/Mann UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology, which included rigorous training in the treatment of the psychosocial aspects of cancer utilizing an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy framework.
After graduation I worked as a hematology social worker at City of Hope Cancer Center, supporting individuals undergoing stem cell transplants. I moved to Portland in 2022, and while employed at a small group practice I specialized in supporting individuals struggling with a wide variety of chronic and terminal illnesses, including Multiple Sclerosis, Mast-Cell Activation Syndrome, and Ehlers-Danlos syndromes, among others. I’m currently receiving further therapeutic training from the Oregon Psychoanalytic Center.
